I’m Liv — The heart behind HX Farmhouse.

In 2018, I made the move from New Zealand’s North Island to the South. Drawn by the slower pace, wide skies, and the pull of rural life. What began as a change of scenery gradually became a complete change in direction.

In late 2024, I was made redundant when the company I had worked with for more than 10 years closed its doors in NZ. So in 2025, I turned that into purpose and created HX Farmhouse.

HX Farmhouse is where my love of rural photography, gardening, and hobby-farm life all come together. I spend my days growing vegetables, tending gardens, wrangling alpacas, and capturing quiet country moments through my lens.
